It's not about the tattoo... it's about the feeling

Hi, I’m Emmy, founder of Fugacious. I’ve always wanted a tattoo… is it lame if I admit that I’m just too scared to get one? It’s not the pain, or even the investment. It’s more the fear of committing to a permanent design on my body for the rest of my life. I envy the badass, the risk-taker, the all-or-nothing friend living their best life in the moment and getting that sexy sleeve tattoo. There is an allure to those that are crazy enough to do it. I love it. I’m jealous. But I just can’t. (I have a hard time signing an apartment lease, if you know what I mean.)

Can’t there be something for us folks that just want to fake it?

I’ve been playing with my semi-permanent tattoos over the past year, refining the formula for the product launch. I love putting them in different places depending on how I'm feeling, where I'm going, or what I'm wearing. It makes me feel creative, mysterious, maybe like a bit of a badass. No one can tell it’s a fake. It gives me the feeling.

During the testing phase of this product I loved giving samples to my friends, who, for the most part, got the same thrill. I loved giving them to my friends children and to their parents. Fugacious isn't ageist at all, as it turns out, capable of bringing joy to the masses.

Now, I must confess, I’m not inventing “semi-permanent” tattoos. There are other companies out there that make them. But let's be honest, they are ridiculously expensive! And how many people know about them? I take the fact that about 50% of my friends have regrettable, permanent tattoos as a testament to the low market penetration of this amazing revolution in the body art world.

Thanks for trying a Fugacious tattoo. We hope you get the feeling.

Yours truly,

Emmy-Lou
